Video games like World of Warcraft and Second Life could be used for education

The results of some research done at Harvard University.

Key Points:

“Unlike lectures, games can be adapted to the pace of the user,”

“Games also simultaneously present information in multiple visual and auditory modes, which capitalises on different learning styles.”

These are all things we knew already but it’s always good to see others getting similar results.
